The Newbridge Memorial (Memo) Hall

K1E 001The Newbridge Memo - A Heritage Lighting Replication Project

In 1924 the Newbridge Institute and Memorial Hall affectionately known as the 'Memo' was built by miners to commerorate those members of the local community who gave their lives in the Great War of 1914-18.

McCann and Partners of Swansea together with the Trustees at the Newbridge Memo awarded the project to Poselco for the replication of five different types of heritage luminaires that originally adorned the walls and ceilings of the auditorium.
